Bruno Senna, son of the legendary Aryton Senna will be driving for Lotus Renault as a replacement for Nick Heidfled at the Belgian grandprix at the Spa Circuit as well as a couple races after that. Bruno was under lot of criticism for lacking the skill to be a F1 driver and that he was in F1 because of his dad’s legacy. Given a chance at this Belgian Spa circuit, the younger Senna who has a beautiful site of his own and is quite active on his twitter account @bsenna, silenced all his critics by qualifying with his Renault seventh with 1m 51.121s far ahead of his teammate Petrov who was considered the better of the two drivers at Renault by all the pundits.Though not at pole, seventh position as a replacement driver and doing better than your teammate is a very good sign for the young Bruno Senna and if this performance is not a flash in the pan, Aryton Senna fans can hope to see his son taking over the mantle and give the F1 crowd in Brazil some one to idolise after the famous Senna and Barrichelo.
Brazilian drivers are known to be good in wet conditions and Renault will be hoping that if the weather stays wet, Bruno would be a much bigger threat and there is a pretty good chance he can squeak out a podium position if not a win. Go Senna.
