Singapore Grand Prix: Practice 3 Results

Sebastian Vettel made it three out of three by topping the timesheets in the third practice session of the Singapore Grand Prix. Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso were second and third fastest respectively.

The third practice session witnessed a number of incidents. Sergio Perez hit the wall at turn 18 and so couldn’t run for the rest of the session.

Timo Glock had a throttle jam at turn 18 and was lucky to stop the car. Had the throttle jammed at any other fast corner, it would have resulted in a very nasty accident.

Mark Webber also hit the wall at turn 18 but didn’t suffer any damage except a puncture.

Vitaly Petrov brought the session to a premature end by crashing his Caterham hard at turn 21. The Caterham mechanics have to work hard to get his car fixed before qualifying.

All in all, the fight for pole position looks to be between Ferrari, Red-Bull and Mclaren with Sebastian Vettel being the firm favourite.
