The Bahrain Grand Prix was a complete unfortunate disaster for Scuderia Ferrari. Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc ended up with a third-place finish despite having looked set for a win right from the start. He drove brilliantly but during the final laps, lady luck tormented him.
Bahrain brought too many back and forth battles. We saw Hamilton going after Vettel twice where the German driver managed to blow up his race by spinning out, damaging his front left tyre and front wing.
We saw Verstappen vs Stroll with Verstappen not letting Stroll pass him that easily. In fact, Stroll had to fight with Verstappen. Both Renaults had a battle and ultimately took each other out. So this Grand Prix was full of 'Oh My God' moments, maybe because Stewards had a lighter hand on giving penalties and letting the drivers RACE.
But after the race, Our little hot-headed Max Verstappen created a little drama. Here is what happened to have a look on this hosted link (Video GIF):
As Ferrari's luck had run out, Verstappen could have made it to the podium after what happened to Charles Leclerc's engine but safety car ending the race barely gave a podium to Charles Leclerc ahead of the Dutchman.
The Safety car finish meant that the tyres were not up to their racing temperature, Verstappen learned that in a hard way. In the cool down lap, our Dutchman took a sharp left and spinning all the way around, lucky enough not into someone. One thing was sure, his head was hotter than the tyres.
This race was undoubtedly one of the most surprising and nail-biting. Every lap had something 'Oh My God' in it. it had the battles, the emotions, everything in it. Just like last year, Vettel came under pressure and has made things difficult for him right from the start.
Well, Bahrain has always brought something to the formula one community and has always surprised everyone. This year too Bahrain maintained its reputation. Now let's see where things are heading.
