Just a few days after scratching the monkey of their backs, Vettel and Webber may be staring down at each other again. Red Bull were supposedly interested in replacing Mark Webber with Kimi Raikkonen and when Vettel was asked, he hinted that he’d be happy.
“I don’t care who my teammate is,” the German told Bild.
“If you want to win, you have to beat everyone.
“But if Kimi was my teammate: fine! We have no problem with each other and we’re mature enough to deal with it even in a difficult situation,” referring to the unease between him and the Australian which dropped another level following the controversial ‘Multi-21′ at the Malaysian Grand Prix.
“I get along well with him, he’s just very honest. There’s no bullshit with him,” he concluded.
There were reports suggesting Webber would quit Formula 1 for good this season and probably take up the driving position for Porsche at their Le Mans first division entry next year.
