The 1994 British GP was an unlucky race for former World Champion Michael Schumacher as he was disqualified from the race after ignoring the black flag from stewards. Schumacher was given the penalty for overtaking Damon Hill during the formation lap. Hill, who claimed the pole position, went on to win the race claiming vital lead over Schumacher.
