Split second, is what that separates an overtake from a crash, a turn from someone’s last turn. Below is a compilation of the worst crashes of 2010. Thankfully, no lives were lost but F1 was not always that safe.

Did You Know: Arguably the greatest F1 racer of all time, Brazilian, Ayrton Senna lost his life while racing at the San Marino Grand Prix in 1994. Senna was killed whilerounding the high-speed Tamburello corner in Imola, Italy, aged just 34. He was also the last F1 driver fatality till date. What a loss!
