Mercedes Formula 1 drivers Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton visit a factory on Wednesday (July 3) in Sindelfingen, Germany.
After the tyre carnage at Silverstone, the two Mercedes drivers were in safer surroundings on Wednesday as they visited a factory in Germany.
Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton took some time out to say hello to the workers.
Rosberg had his trophy from Silverstone with him and displayed it in front of an applauding audience.
As for Hamilton, after obtaining pole position at the British Grand Prix, Hamilton’s Pirelli tyre blew out, the Brit eventually finished fourth to close the gap on leader Sebastian Vettel.
And Hamilton thinks the car will be better at the German GP on Sunday –
Lewis Hamilton, Mercedes:
“I hope that we can take the same performance, if not better, with better improvements coming to the car in Germany. This is going to be a good weekend for us I think and this part of the season we just need to keep on pushing and we appreciate all the support you give us.”
Hamilton had time to sign autographs at the end of the day, as Rosberg lifted the trophy.
