New Delhi - Sahara Force India drivers Paul di Resta and Nico Hulkenberg turned stylists Tuesday when they handpicked clothes to dress models at a store of team’s clothing partner, Hackett London.
The duo visited the newly-opened Hackett London store at DLF Emporio mall here to show off their fashion sense, days before displaying serious speed during the Oct 26-28 Indian Grand Prix.
The models were dressed in looks that encapsulated the drivers’ preferred choices for casual and formal wear. The presentation of the collection via a live mannequin installation brought alive the sartorial interpretation of Force India.
“It was fun styling the models. We also like to dress up sometimes as we are wearing team kits during the race weekends. I am more of a casual dresser, confined to a pair of t-shirt and denims,” Hulkenberg told IANS as di Resta sat beside his teammate.
It did not take long for di Resta to participate in the conversation.
“After-parties is the time when we get to unwind. I like dressing up for those, especially pool parties.”
The relationship with the Silverstone-based team marks the continuation of Hackett’s plans to expand further into international markets, including India, and capitalise on the global appeal of the sport.
