Playing XI Updates

Sylhet Sixers

No personnel changes are expected from the Sylhet Sixers although Nicholas Pooran should be promoted up the order after good performances in the three games they have played. David Warner and Sandeep Lamichhane have underperformed as much is expected of the two overseas players against the Victorians. Sohail Tanvir should keep his place after a tidy spell against Dhaka.

Possible XI: Warner(C), Liton(WK), Sabbir, Pooran, Nasir, Afif, Kapali, Tanvir, Taskin, Al-Amin and Lamichhane.

Comilla Victorians

In the absence of Steve Smith, captain Imrul Kayes has already utilized Tamim Iqbal in two positions which might hinder him. Tamim should open the batting against Sylhet alongside Kayes with Anamul batting at number 3. Thisara Perera was devastating in his debut match for the Victorians and will be called upon again with both bat and ball.

Evin Lewis wasn't able to take the field after leaving with an injury while batting. This opens up an overseas slot which could be taken up by Aamer Yamin to strengthen the bowling.

Fantasy Tips and Suggestions

Wicket-keeper: Although both keepers play as openers for their respective teams, Liton Das should be preferred with his recent form in the T20 internationals against the West Indies signalling the attacking prowess of the Bangladeshi. Anamul Haque could also be selected keeping in mind the balance of the fantasy side.

Batsmen: David Warner and Tamim Iqbal are two players you wouldn't want to be missing out on. Both of them are quality batsmen and are too good to be kept down for long. Nicholas Pooran has been in sensational form of late and could also be a viable option. Imrul Kayes and Sabbir Rahman are also handy selections to go by with their records speaking for themselves.

All-rounders: Thisara Perera scored the fastest fifty of this year's BPL on Sunday and will be hoping for more of the same. The Sri Lankan all-rounder provides the complete package with bat and bowl and should be picked without any hesitation. Shahid Afridi and Nasir Hossain are also useful picks with the latter's off-spin sure to come in handy against the left-hand pair of Tamim and Kayes.

Bowlers: Sandeep Lamichhane, Sohail Tanvir and Saifuddin are the ideal set of players to go by. Lamichhane has underperformed to his standards and should be itching to put in a big performance on Tuesday against the Victorians. Taskin Ahmed is also a great option to go for

Captain: After his previous match heroics, it would be hard to look past Thisara Perera. With his penchant for wickets in the death and blistering hitting, he is a fantasy team's dream player. David Warner is also a good option to go for.
