Playing XI Updates
India A
With the departure of major players such as Ajinkya Rahane, Shreyas Iyer, Krunal Pandya and Sid Kaul, Ankit Bawne is set to lead a very youthful side boosted by Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul in it. With two opportunities already given to Anmolpreet, Gaikwad could be in line to play in the fourth ODI with Ricky Bhui most likely to play at number four. Deepak Hooda and Rahul Chahar are almost certain to play the fourth ODI with the third ODI indicating that spin could play a major part in the used pitch.
Possible XI: Rahul, Gaikwad, Bawne(C), Bhui, Pant(WK), Hooda, Axar, Deepak Chahar, Rahul Chahar, Thakur and Navdeep.
England Lions
After another woeful performance from the top order, changes are set to be made without a doubt. Ollie Pope could sit this one out for Sam Hain, who has had a productive 2018 for Warwickshire. The bowling unit was good as they restricted India A to 172 and should remain the same.
Possible XI: Davies(WK), Jacks, Hain, Duckett, Billings(C), Mullaney, Gregory, Overton, Briggs, Carter and Chappell.
Fantasy Tips and Suggestions
Wicket-keeper: Both Rishabh Pant and Alex Davies are great options to go for. Pant has been in brilliant touch of late with a hundred at the SCG to cap off a memorable Test series while Alex Davies has been decent with bat and behind the gloves.
Batsmen: Lokesh Rahul and Will Jacks are must-haves in the fantasy team with Jacks even doing great with the ball. Ankit Bawne is sure to play in the side and with extra responsibility on him, he is sure to do good. Sam Billings could also be a viable option.
All-rounders: Lewis Gregory could be vital considering his incisive bowling and effective batting in the middle overs. Either of Deepak Hooda and Axar Patel could be very handy options as well considering the slowness of the pitch.
Bowlers: Shardul Thakur should be very effective with the new ball while the likes of Rahul Chahar, Carter and Briggs are sure to have a say on the proceedings. Navdeep Saini was brilliant with a couple of wickets to show in his previous outing for India A and should be a handy option as well.
Captain: KL Rahul and Lewis Gregory are great options for captain with both of them looking good in their brief stints at the crease. Ankit Bawne and Rishabh Pant are also useful options to choose as captain.
Fantasy Suggestion #1: Rishabh Pant(WK), Lokesh Rahul, Ankit Bawne, Will Jacks, Steven Mullaney, Lewis Gregory, Deepak Hooda, Shardul Thakur, Danny Briggs, Matt Carter and Rahul Chahar. Captain: KL Rahul
Fantasy Suggestion #2: Alex Davies (WK), Lokesh Rahul, Ankit Bawne, Will Jacks, Sam Billings, Lewis Gregory, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Navdeep Saini, Matt Carter and Danny Briggs. Captain: Lewis Gregory.
