Wicket-keeper: Rishabh Pant
Rishabh Pant was the highest point-scoring wicket-keeper in Round 1 and he really set the league on fire with his performances. He scored a belligerent 78 off just 27 balls in the first match against the Mumbai Indians. His efforts enabled Delhi to a much-needed opening win which set their campaign up perfectly. He scored a quick-fire 25 off 15 balls against CSK and did a good job behind the stumps.
All-Rounders: Andre Russell and Ravindra Jadeja
Andre Russell has been the player of the tournament so far and the KKR all-rounder was the joint-highest points scorer along with David Warner. Russell scored 49 off 19 balls to lead KKR to an improbable victory against SRH and followed it up with another quick-fire 48 off 17 balls to help them post a big score against KXIP. He also picked up 4 wickets with the ball to cap off a complete all-around performance.
Ravindra Jadeja has done a great job with the ball and on the field this season and has been used very well by MS Dhoni. The all-rounder was a key part of CSK's demolition of the RCB batting lineup in the season opener and picked up 2 wickets and scored 6 runs. He bowled another economical spell picking up one wicket and was excellent on the field gaining points from that aspect of the game as well.
