Pakistan and New Zealand will face off in the final Group A fixture in the ICC Women's T20I World Cup 2024 on Monday, October 14. The Dubai International Cricket Stadium will host the contest.
Multiple qualification scenarios are possible in this match, with New Zealand, India, and Pakistan all contenders for that second qualifying spot for the semi-finals alongside Australia.
A win for New Zealand looks likely, and skipper Sophie Devine will look to build on the momentum generated courtesy of their win over Sri Lanka. Meanwhile, Pakistan will be boosted by the return of captain Fatima Sana, although it'll take a herculean effort from them to recover from the devastating defeat to Australia.
On that note, let's now look at the top three Dream11 differentials in this match.
#3 Sidra Amin (BAT - PAK)
The batters haven't stepped up and delivered in this tournament for Pakistan, with Nida Dar and captain Fatima Sana the only two to play with some semblance of control. That needs to change today, and if it does, one player who could benefit from it is opener Sidra Amin.
The 32-year-old is an experienced campaigner, having played 63 T20Is so far. She has a good record against New Zealand in limited-overs cricket, scoring 94 runs in four T20Is and even scoring a hundred against the White Ferns in ODIs.
Amin hasn't gotten going in this tournament but has gotten a couple of starts. If she can convert them, the Dubai wicket certainly offers her plenty to work with. She's a risky but potentially rewarding Dream11 differential.
#2 Brooke Halliday (BAT - NZ)
Batting all-rounder Brooke Halliday's pyrotechnics with the bat and handy medium pace might be required for the White Ferns. A powerful striker of the ball, Brooke played a vital cameo against India, scoring 16 runs off 12 balls to give them the much-needed momentum in the death overs to take the game beyond India's reach.
She also delivered with the ball in the only time of asking against Australia, picking up the crucial wickets of the dangerous Phoebe Litchfield and Annabel Sutherland. This is a game where she could once again be called on to bowl and bat, and while none of the two is guaranteed, her points ceiling is very high if it does happen.
Like Sidra Amin, she's also a risky Dream11 differential pick.
#1 Nashra Sandhu (BOWL - PAK)
One of the most economical and accurate spinners around, it's surprising to see Nashra Sandhu have only two wickets to her name in a tournament that has supported spin bowlers at every turn. Ranked eighth on the ICC T20I Bowlers' Rankings, Nashra's quality is evident, but after the 2-wicket haul in a miserly spell against Sri Lanka, she is yet to pick up another wicket.
That could change when she goes up against what should be a New Zealand batting unit that'll look to play on the front foot.
The ownership for a bowler of her quality is too low, especially after seeing New Zealand struggle against quality spin like they did against Australia. She's a Dream11 differential who could reward her backers.
