In what was a throwback to their golden generation, the West Indies bullied the English to submit in the Test series with hostile bowling and gritty batting typifying their historic win. With the World Cup 2019 just around the corner, the focus now shifts to the 50-over format as the hosts seek to upstage the number one ranked side, England with the first of the five ODI being held at the Kensington Oval, Barbados.
Since their disastrous 2015 World Cup campaign, England have been sensational with their brand of attacking cricket blowing away all opposition over the past four years. After a disappointing loss in the Test series, England now seek redemption as they aim to set the record straight. Will the Windies tame the Lions once again is a question worth pondering in what promises to be an entertaining match between the two nations.

Playing XI Updates
West Indies:
Chris Gayle is back in the ODI team and should feature in a new brand new opening pair alongside John Campbell. Shai Hope and Shimron Hetmyer have been in good form over the past year and will be key to counter attacking the spin threat of England. Hetmyer has already proven his ability against quality spin in India. One of Darren Bravo and Nicolas Pooran should make the team and with the presence of a long batting line-up, West Indies are well prepared for an English onslaught.
Possible XI: Gayle, Campbell, Hope(WK), Hetmyer, Pooran, Holder(C), Brathwaithe/Allen, Nurse, Roach, Cottrell and Oshane Thomas.
England:
Eoin Morgan is back for the English which signals ultra attacking intent from the side which has in its ranks some of the most destructive batsmen. Roy and Bairstow have been brilliant at the top of the order while Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes' presence makes them a formidable unit. Chris Woakes and Mark Wood should start with the new ball with the spin twins, Rashid and Ali complementing them perfectly.
Possible XI: Roy, Bairstow, Root, Morgan(C), Stokes, Buttler(WK), Ali, Woakes, Rashid, Plunkett and Wood.

Fantasy Tips and Suggestions
Wicket-keeper: In Shai Hope and Jos Buttler, we have amongst our options two of the world's best wicket-keeper batsmen in the world. Both of them have in been in fine form over the last year, rendering them fine options for the fantasy team.
Batsmen: Joe Root and Jason Roy struck hundreds in the practice match prior to the first ODI and would surely be handy picks. Along with the English duo, Shimron Hetmyer is a viable selection with his ability against spin well-known to one and all. One of Chris Gayle or Jonny Bairstow would suffice rounding off a strong batting contingent.
All-rounders: Both teams are blessed with a number of quality all-rounders in their sides. Ben Stokes, Moeen Ali and Jason Holder are the ideal set of players to have in your side considering their ability to influence the game at any given point. Jason Holder returns to international action after a sensational performance in the Test series and would hold key to the Windies fortunes.
Bowlers: Adil Rashid is a must-have in the side while Liam Plunkett's selection is also necessary with the pacer in good form as well after a fruitful stint with the Melbourne Stars. One of Kemar Roach or Oshane Thomas would be a clever pick considering the Englishmen's difficultly against shorter balls in the Test series.
Captain: Joe Root and Ben Stokes are the ideal choices for captain with both of them bouncing back to form in the third Test. Other options also include Shai Hope and Jason Roy, both of whom have scored heavily in the format over the last year or so.
