3) Claudio Bravo
Manchester City’s new man between the sticks Claudio Bravo has a big season ahead of him. Pep Guardiola made it clear to everybody that despite being a part of the Etihad Stadium for ten years, there is no place for Joe Hart in his plans for the Citizens.
Hart was a fan favourite and was part of the Manchester City team that won two English League Cups, an FA Cup, and most importantly, two Premier League titles. He had become somewhat of a cult hero among the Manchester City fans.
While Claudio Bravo is by no means a poor goalkeeper, he will have to earn the appreciation of the City fans with his performances. The Chilean stopper will surely get a fair chance to impress the club’s followers, but if he fails to live up to expectations, he won’t be the only one affected. Pep Guardiola will be judged on the success or failure of the new keeper.
