Fifa 16 has been around for quite a time now, coming out in September 2015. Since the release of the game, it has garnered positive reviews with gamers particularly fond of the game mode called FUT or FIFA ULTIMATE TEAM, a mode where gamers build their own squads and take on the world online.
After the winter transfer window is finished, FIFA sends out an update for the roster to update it. This is also the time when a player is upgraded or downgraded depending on their performances in the first half of the season. The winter patch for FIFA 16 came out in four batches, with each coming after a week.
The following are the list of players with the best upgrades in the Winter Upgrade.
1) Neymar Jr. (Brazil) – FC Barcelona (Spain)
Neymar completed his most prolific season with 24 goals and 12 assists in La Liga. the Brazilian partnered Messi and Suarez to create a deadly frontline for Barcelona. The mercurial star won La Liga on the final day of the campaign, pipping Real Madrid to the title.
The former Santos forward is a fan favourite in FIFA due to his five-star skills and five-star weak foot which make him quite a forward and a force to reckon with for opposing players.

2) Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Gabon) – Borussia Dortmund (Germany)
Aubameyang has been a revelation in the Bundesliga propelling Dortmund to 2nd place. He was in blistering form last season just finishing behind Robert Lewandowski in the race for the Bundesliga Golden Boot. The Gabon international scored 25 goals and assisted his teammates 5 times as well.
Aubameyang is one of the deadliest forwards in FIFA due to his incredible speed and decent shooting. The Dortmund man is one of the fastest players in the game and he was a devastating player even before the update, so an upgrade is an icing on the cake.

3) Riyad Mahrez (Algeria) – Leicester City (England)
Riyad Mahrez was the main creative spark for Leicester City. He won the PFA Player of the Year. He was a key reason in Leicester City clinching the title with style. Mahrez has been instrumental in the fairytale campaign. The Algerian scored 17 goals and assisted his teammates 11 times in the league.
The Leicester star has seen a fair rise after the upgrade although it is still not a reflection on the season which just ended as Mahrez should have had a higher upgrade in his stats.

4) Harry Kane (England) – Tottenham Hotspur (England)
Harry Kane had been in devastating form last season, having scored 25 goals in the league. His goals led to Tottenham finishing 3rd in the league. Kane was in incredible form as he finished the league campaign by winning the Golden Boot.
The Englishman has seen his rating rise steadily, with him now entering 80+. He is a strong striker and his decent shooting stats and should be a delight to play with.

5) Jamie Vardy (England) – Leicester City (England)
Jamie Vardy has had a shocking season in a good way. He scored 24 goals in the league, having his best season of all time. His goals were a key reason to Leicester City clinching the title with so much style. He finished 2nd in the race for the Golden Boot tied with Sergio Aguero.
Vardy has had a decent upgrade to his ratings, but considering the sheer number of goals he has scored, he should have had a much bigger upgrade to his card.

6) Jack Butland (England) – Stoke City (England)
Jack Butland proved to be a reliable and consistent keeper. He has been an excellent goalkeeper for Stoke City with 10 clean sheets. He could’ve gotten more if it wasn’t for an injury that ruled him out for the season.
The goalkeeper has seen a very good upgrade to his ratings due to his excellent shot stopping for Stoke City. He is a decent keeper in FIFA post his upgrade, which makes him a compelling purchase in FUT.

7) Dele Alli (England) – Tottenham Hotspur (England)
Dele Alli was the surprise package for Spurs this season. The English star was in fine form last campaign and set Premier League on fire with his goals and assists. He scored 10 goals and 9 assists in his debut season in the Premier League. He has seen a rise that would not justify his brilliant first season and he should have had a better upgrade.

8) Hamari Traore (Mali) – Stade Reims (France)
Hamari Traore was a surprise package being unknown previously. He had been a regular starter for the Reims in Ligue 1 last season, scoring twice in the process. He is deployed as both a right-back and a right midfielder. The Ligue 1 star has seen a very healthy upgrade to his ratings due to a string of good performances in France.

9) Marcus Rashford (England) – Manchester United (England)
Marcus Rashford had been a delight for the United fans with his goals. He is the youngest goal scorer for United in European competitions. The Englishman has recently been called up by the England National Team for his exploits in the Premier League this season.
The young striker scored five goals in the league having made his debut at the turn of the year. No wonder his performances have seen his rating increase so drastically. He has decent pace and dribbling skills in the game as well.

10) Robert Kenedy (Brazil) – Chelsea (England)
Kenedy was a very good addition for Chelsea. He was also deployed as a Left-back. He had been a revelation for Chelsea last season. He scored the fastest goal of the Premier League season against Norwich City.
The Brazilian has seen his rating increase immensely as he has entered the 70+ mark due to his amazing dribbling and speed. He has very good pace and dribbling, while also being a good passer of the ball.
