The Spanish goalkeeper spent 9 years at Liverpool and is deservingly called their best goalkeeper in the premier league era. Reina played around 400 games for the Merseyside club and was the mainstay between the sticks for the Reds.

Reina played a second fiddle to Iker Casillas in the Spain national camp but his potential was never doubted. The Spaniard won 3 successive golden glove awards in the premier league from 2005-08, which just tells us the level of Reina's performance in the toughest league of the world.
It is a shame that we never got to see Pepe Reina lift the elusive Premier League title but a missing trophy can't deny the fact that the Spaniard will go down as one of the greatest goalkeepers in the premier league era.
