Ronaldo was actually launching a CR7 line of underwear the following month. As a promotion for the boys' line, Ronaldo's CR7 brand held a contest on Facebook where the participants were to Upload their best, craziest and funniest fan image showing their love for CR7 to win a trip to meet Cristiano Ronaldo and seen him play a match!
So the Juve striker wasn't actually thanking his followers for photos of boys in underwear; he was thanking folks for participating in his contest which simply showcased their love for him.
