10 of Arsene Wenger's worst defeats at Arsenal

This game was Wenger's 1000th match in charge and Gunners lost so embarrassingly.

This one has to be at the top of the list for two reasons. First, it was Arsene Wenger's 1000th match in charge of Arsenal and they lost so badly. Secondly, they lost it in no ordinary match but a proper London derby and no matter what a derby is always a must win for any team, but Arsenal on such a special occasion lost 6-0.

For Chelsea, Samuel Eto opened the scoring within six minutes and Andre Schurrrle added second two minutes later. While Eden Hazard scored one from the spot and Mo Salah scored his first goal for Chelsea, Oscar hit a brace in that game.

Though Arsenal were down to ten men by the 15 minute, but even before that time, they were playing horribly. It was Chelsea's biggest win over Arsenal in their history and it was the joint heaviest margin of defeat suffered by Arsene Wenger alongside the 8-2 defeat by Manchester United.

Arsenal fans expected their team to full of energy and enthusiasm since it was their gaffer's 1000th match in charge, but instead, they produced a shocking display which still gives Chelsea fans the right to mock their counterparts something which the Arsenal do not deserve.
