#9 Only one team has ever finished in the top 3 with a negative goal difference

In the inaugural season of the Premier League, when the likes of Aston Villa and Blackburn Rovers were the closest challengers to Sir Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United for the title, a certain Norwich city side under Mike Walker's stewardship managed to finish third in the league.
Having been pre-season favourites for relegation, the Canaries led the league for most of the season, before stuttering in the final weeks to finish third in the table, behind Manchester United and Aston Villa.
On their way to a third placed finish, the Canaries managed to score 61 goals, but allowed in 65 goals, meaning they had a goal difference of -4, thus making Norwich the only team ever to finish top 3 with a negative goal difference.
#8 Most consecutive games without a win

To conclude that Derby County from the 2007/08 season, were the worst side ever to grace the Premier League, would be an understatement, such was their performance.
Finishing with just 11 (a record low) points across the whole season, the Rams went on a 32-game winless run in the Premier League (another record). After winning 1-0 on matchday 6 against Newcastle United, the Rams did not register a single victory in the entire season picking up just 7 points thereafter.
Derby also holds the record for the fewest home wins (1), most goals conceded (89) and fewest scored (20) in a season.
