#4 Gary Cahill
It is a credit to Gary Cahill that he has made a career with Chelsea despite an incredibly outdated defensive skill-set. The defender struggles on the ball, and his slow pace means that he is often exposed by the opposition's attackers.
The 32-year-old is good in the air and makes some excellent blocks, however, his overall skill-set is one that is often found at a mid-table side, rather than one of the best in the league.
#3 Alvaro Morata
Alvaro Morata has never been the most proficient scorer, however, Chelsea splashed out £60 million on the player due to his excellent all-round skill-set. Despite a promising start, the striker has struggled to adapt to life in England and his performances have been disappointing so far.
The 26-year-old averages just a goal every 3 games, and Morata's other qualities such as his movement off the ball seem to have abandoned him. The ex-Madrid man still has immense quality, however, he simply looks like a bad fit for the Premier League.
