Arsenal haven't been able to lay their hands on the League Trophy ever since they managed to do it in unbelievable fashion back in 2004 - going unbeaten through the season.
It appears that their dominance has been waning and if their performance against the Magpies was anything to go by, it most certainly seems to be a thing of the past.
