#5 No League Title, No League Cup, No FA Cup
So with no league and no League Cup to bank on, for the past decade and a half or so, the FA Cup has become the club's latest calling card in the past few seasons as they've managed to salvage some pride by winning the most elite cup competition in England - the FA Cup.
In fact, the Gunners have managed to extend their advantage in the history of the competition, as the most successful club, by winning the title in three out of the last four years - a major reason why Wenger is still in charge at the club.
No other manager has won the Cup more times than the Frenchman, but this season even the FA Cup knocked the man down, when he was already reeling, as absolute minnows Nottingham Forest from the Championship proved to be too stern a test for his side.
