Well, it would take a lot for one to support a club that doesn’t win. There could be other affiliations, of course, but if a neutral decided that he or she pick a club to settle down with (for lack of a better term) right now, it would probably be Leicester City, Bayern Munich or Barcelona; they’re the ones winning right now.
It was the same for me back then. When I took up an interest in football, the Blues were on top of the world, boasting bright young talents in Arjen Robben, Damien Duff, Joe Cole, and of course Lamps, Drogba and Terry.
Who else was I going to support? Arsenal?
