There has been an effort to find out which European teams, on an average, had the most ball possession.The results obtained reveal that Bayern Munich top the charts with 70% ball possession while Catalan giants FC Barcelona are at number 2 with 68%.
French Ligue-1 side Paris Saint-Germain are a close third with 66%. Arsenal is the only Premier League side in the top five, joint fourth with Serie A side AS Roma with 63% ball possession.
Defending Premier League champions Manchester City are tied sixth alongside Italian giants Juventus with 60%, Everton are in 8th position with 59 % possession.The ninth spot is again shared by several teams that includes the likes of Real Madrid and Inter Milan.
Crystal Palace have been found out to have enjoyed the least of the ball all over Europe – with 36% ball possession.
