#3 Wayne Rooney - 24 years and 100 days
In January 2010, Wayne Rooney joined the Premier League's 100-goal club with a strike against Arsenal, the same team he also scored his first top-flight goal against.
The former Manchester United legend was just over 24 years of age at the time, the third youngest, although it took him well over 200 appearances to achieve the feat.
#2 Robbie Fowler - 23 years and 283 days
Robbie Fowler was the first Liverpool player to cross the 100-goal milestone in the Premier League, and when he did, the striker was also the youngest at the time.
Interestingly, his centurion strike came as part of a hat-trick against Southampton in January 1999 in a 7-1 shellacking.
#1 Michael Owen - 23 years and 134 days
More than four years later, Michael Owen broke his teammate's record to become the youngest Premier League player to score 100 goals at the age of 23 years and 134 days.
His milestone also came when he struck four goals in a 6-0 demolition of West Brom on his 185th appearance. That's some way to claim the record, I guess!
