According to the report at the skysport.com Joan Laporta, former Barcelona president has revealed in an interview, that the Barcelona in 2003 almost signed Cristiano Ronaldo before he went on to sign for Manchester United. Current Real Madrid president, Florentino Pérez confirmed this in the year 2014 and said, "I don't know why, but Ferguson is a bit obsessed with Real Madrid. He doesn't like us, I have to say that.
