Local Kolkata side United SC will be up against Busan Sun Moon FC in their 118th IFA Shield Group A match to be played tomorrow evening at the Saltlake Stadium.
The guests from South Korea shared the points with East Bengal Club in their opening 1-1 draw, now they face another local I-League side in United SC.
The members of the Purple Brigade had a practice session on the eve of the match at the Saltlake Stadium and they look motivated to regain the IFA Shield crown after their not so good Federation Cup.
After the departure of head coach Eelco Schattorie from the Netherlands it was assistant coach Anjan Nath, who conducted the pre-match training session at the Purple Brigade. All four foreigners practiced with the team but except Eric Brown, the other three foreigners in Ranty Martins Soleye, Bello Rasaq and Hasan Al Moustafa have some injury problems though all could play if needed tomorrow.
“Hassan, Ranti, Bello and Rafiq have small injuries but enough maybe to skip this game. This will be a tough match for us. I see their first game and we have the full squad available. I have told the players to play for themselves as that would open new doors for them in the future,” Anjan Nath said before the match.
He also stressed that the team will be working together to come out of these hard times.
