#3 Maurizio Sarri delivers this season
Yesterday night saw Arsenal and Manchester United draw their matches with the latter ending their top four hopes, in turn ensuring Chelsea of a top 4 finish. After last season's horrendous finish, the minimum requirement this season was to qualify for the Champions League.
Sarri, despite all the criticism from the pudits and even the Chelsea fanbase, has ensured Champions League football at Stamford Bridge next season. Chelsea can even finish third this season along with a trophy in the form of the Europa League.
One of the biggest points of critcism was Sarri's reluctance to use the youth. What we all have failed to notice is that Sarri has quietly integrated the youth and has delivered what was required. It seems Sarri must continue at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea begin their UCL challenge next season. His usage of youth has even more significance when you think about the incoming transfer ban. The loanees will be called back and integrated into the first team.
Sarri, despite of all the hiccups, has done what Chelsea were craving for and Stamford Bridge has to be proud of the their manager and appreciate Sarri for his efforts.
