#11 José Luis Gayà
It would seem that the left backs for Spain at the World Cup just weren't good enough. Both Jordi Alba and Nacho Monreal were omitted from the recent Spain squad. This gives Valencia's José Luis Gayà an opportunity to give his audition for a very stacked position.
#12 Diego Lainez
Diego Lainez currently plies his trade for Liga MX side Club America. The MVP of the 2018 Toulon Tournament is involved in the Mexican senior team moving forward and could be in line to make his international introduction vs Uruguay or rivals USA.
#13 Franco Vázquez
The Sevilla man who already has 2 caps for Italy has seemingly settled his international future by deciding to accept the call-up from the Argentinian national team. Vázquez's calmness on the football could be a great addition to La Albiceleste.
#14 Alfredo Morelos
The Rangers' frontman has earned a call-up to a Colombian national team who says goodbye to José Pékerman. Morelos will hope he does enough to impress as he attempts to be part of the new era of Colombian football.
#15 Franco Cervi
The skillful Benfica winger has never been capped at any level for Argentina but his performances in Portugal, and across Europe, can no longer be ignored.
#16 Paul-Georges Ntep
The former French youth international who has two non-competitive senior caps for France has responded positively to newly appointed manager Clarence Seedorf's request for him to join the Cameroon squad.
#17 Andreas Pereira
Pereira's hard work in pre-season was not only recognized by Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho but also by Brazilian manager Tite. He was being extremely efficient at the heart of the midfield for the Old Trafford outfit thus far. Pereira must continue to work well if he is to repeat his selection for future Brazilian squads.
#18 Santiago Ascacíbar
Buoyed by a new 5-year deal at Stuttgart, the midfield battler has been granted a chance to see if he can be the replacement for all-time Argentine leading cap-holder, Javier Mascherano. As was evident in the World Cup 2018, Argentina lacked a midfield enforcer and Ascacibar could just fill that vacancy.
#19 Luka Zahović
Son of Slovenian legend Zlatko Zahovic, Luca is a goal getter like his dad but many believe his potential is even greater. He has been previously included in the senior national team in the past but has never found his way onto the pitch. However, he is expected to contribute during this international break.
#20 Richarlison
The fiery Brazilian attacker is in Brazil's latest squad after a string of impressive performances for Everton in the Premier League. During the summer Richarlison followed coach Marco Silva from Watford to Everton with the hope of making the Brazil team. So said, so done. So far, he has scored 3 goals from 3 games for the Toffees and would be looking to build on the same for Brazil.
