#4 Thilo Kehrer
Another top graduate from the Gelsenkirchen based academy of Schalke, Kehrer will follow Ozil, Sane and Draxler to make his Champions League debut this season. Thomas Tuchel has high hopes for the youngster who was recently called into his first German senior squad.
His versatility will be key as Tuchel is known for tinkering his system to exploit opponent's weaknesses. With Marquinhos, Thiago Silva and World Cup winner Presnel Kimpembe all competing for central defensive positions, Kehrer might have to play the waiting game this season.
