Adidas unveiled the official match ball for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday. The ball has been christened as “Brazuca”.
European clubs Bayern Munich and AC Milan and footballers Lionel Messi and Iker Casillas were consulted while developing the football.
It will be interesting to see the reaction of the players on the ball. The match ball of the last World Cup held in South Africa – Jabulani - came under a lot of criticism from goalkeepers.
This is the 12th edition of the World Cup where the match ball would be manufactured by Adidas.
For the first time ever, the official match ball has a Twitter page (@brazuca).
