#3 Spain should consider replacing the veterans gradually
Ad
Sergio Ramos
Both Sergio Ramos and Sergio Busquets have served Spain wonderfully for the last 12 years or so but it is about time now to start looking for their replacements. Ramos looked awfully out of sorts while dealing with the pace of a much younger Rashford at times. The same goes about Busquets who struggled to adjust with the much faster movement of his fellow midfielders Thiago Alcantara and Saul Niguez.
Busquets also failed to mark Danny Welbeck properly inside the Spanish penalty box in the injury time as Welbeck went on to put the ball into the net. The goal was disallowed because of Welbeck’s foul on De Gea but one cannot deny the fact that Busquets simply got overpowered by him. Enrique should start thinking about replacing them before Euro 2020 and players like Koke, Ander Herrera, Sergi Roberto and Lucas Vazquez should be given their chances.

Subhadeep lives and breathes tennis. He watches matches regularly and engages in social media platforms to stay on top of the latest happenings. As a writer, he brings the fan's perspective to his pieces, ensuring his readers enjoy an exceptional experience every time.
Growing up, he idolized Boris Becker, but he now firmly believes Novak Djokovic stands alone as the 'Greatest of all Time', especially considering the 24-time Grand Slam champion's incredible stats. When not working for Sportskeeda, Subhadeep delves into the other "love of his life": football, and enjoys contributing his insights to different websites dedicated to the sport.
