The fifth Matchday of group-stage action in the 2019-20 UEFA Champions League saw Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, Barcelona and RB Leipzig book their places in the Round of 16.
With the trio of Juventus, Bayern Munich and Paris St. Germain having already qualified for the knockout round on Matchday 4, only eight berths in the Round of 16 are now up for grabs.
Ahead of the final Matchday of group-stage fixtures in two weeks' time, let us find out what the qualification scenario in each of the eight groups is, and which teams are in contention to qualify for the knockout round.
Group A
Group situation

Qualification Scenario
With 4 wins in their first 4 games, PSG have qualified for the knockout round with two games to spare. On Matchday 5, the French champions drew 2-2 at Real Madrid, which meant that PSG sealed top spot in the group and the 13-time winners Real Madrid also booked their place in the knockout round.

Group B
Group situation
Bayern Munich (15 points), Tottenham Hotspur (10 points), Crvena Zvezda (3 points), Olympiacos (1 point).

Qualification Scenario
One of 2 teams to win their first 4 group games in this season's competition, Bayern Munich were through to the Round of 16 on Matchday 4. A 6-0 win at Crvena Zvezda on Matchday 5 confirmed the German champions as group winners.
Tottenham Hotspur joined the Bavarian giants in the knockout round following a come-from-behind 4-2 home win over Olympiacos.

Qualification Scenario
Manchester City have qualified for the Round of 16 as group winners following their 1-1 draw at home to Shakhtar Donetsk.
All the three other clubs in the group are in contention for a place in the knockout round, following tournament debutants Atalanta's win over Dinamo Zagreb.
The qualification scenarios for the trio of contenders in the group are as follows:
QUALIFIED: Manchester City (as group-winners).
Shakhtar Donetsk: will go through if they beat Atalanta, or if they draw and Dinamo do not beat City.
Dinamo Zagreb: will go through if they win against City and Shakhtar do not beat Atalanta.
Atalanta: will go through if they beat Shakhtar and Dinamo do not beat City.
Group D
Group situation
Juventus (13 points), Atletico Madrid (7 points), Bayer Leverkusen (6 points), Lokomotiv Moscow (3 points).

Qualification Scenario
Juventus were one of 3 teams to qualify for the Round of 16 with two games to spare. Following a 1-0 home win over Atletico Madrid on Matchday 5, the Bianconeri sealed top-place in the group, leaving Atletico and Bayer Leverkusen in a tussle for the runner-up spot in the group and qualification for the knockout round.
QUALIFIED: Juventus (as group-winners).
Atlético Madrid: Will go through if they beat Lokomotiv or if Leverkusen fail to win against Juventus.
Bayer Leverkusen: Will go through if they beat Juventus and Atlético do not beat Lokomotiv.
Group E
Group situation
Liverpool (10 points), Napoli (9 points), Salzburg (7 points), Genk (1 point).

Salzburg vs Liverpool, Napoli vs Genk.
Qualification Scenario
Liverpool, Napoli and Salzburg are all in contention for a place in the knockout round. A Napoli draw and a Salzburg win on Matchday 6 would see all three teams on 10 points apiece.
Liverpool: Will go through if they avoid defeat at Salzburg or if Napoli lose to Genk.
Napoli: Will go through if they do not lose to Genk, or Salzburg do not beat Liverpool.
Salzburg: Will go through if they beat Liverpool and Napoli do not beat Genk. If Napoli win, Salzburg would have to beat Liverpool by a better scoreline than the 4-3 by which they lost against the Anfield club on Matchday 2.
Group F
Group situation
Barcelona (11 points), Internazionale (7 points), Borussia Dortmund (7 points), Slavia Praha (2 points).
Matchday 6 fixtures
Internazionale vs Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund vs Slavia Praha.
Qualification Scenario
Following a Matchday 5 home win over Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona have qualified for the knockout round as group-winners, leaving Internazionale and Dortmund (both on 7 points apiece) jostling for the remaining Round of 16 berth in the group.
Owing to Inter's superior goal difference in their matches against Dortmund, the Nerazzuri will go through if both teams end up with the same number of points.
Internazionale: Will go through if they beat Barcelona, or if Dortmund lose against Slavia.
Borussia Dortmund: Will go through by by beating Slavia and Inter do not beat Barcelona, or if they beat Slavia and Inter lose against Barcelona.
Group G
Group situation
Leipzig (10 points), Zenit St. Petersburg (7 points), Lyon (7 points), Benfica (4 points).
Matchday 6 fixtures
Lyon vs Leipzig, Benfica vs Zenit St. Petersburg.
Qualification Scenario
Following a 2-2 home draw with Benfica on Matchday 5, Leipzig have qualified for the knockout round - leaving Zenit and Lyon to fight out for the final Round of 16 berth in the group.
Leipzig will seal top place if the group if they avoid defeat against Lyon or if Zenit do not beat Benfica. If Leipzig lose at Lyon and Zenit win at Benfica, the trio of Lyon, Leipzig and Benfica woud all be on 10 points.
Zenit St. Petersburg: Will go through if they beat Benfica and Lyon do not beat Leipzig, or if Lyon lose against Leipzig. In case both games are drawn, Zenit will go through owing to their head-to-head superiority over Lyon.
Lyon: will go through as group winners if they beat Leipzig, or if they draw and Zenit lose to Benfica.
Group H
Group situation
Ajax (10 points), Valencia (8 points), Chelsea (8 points), Lille (1 point).

Qualification Scenario
The trio of Ajax, Valencia and Chelsea are in contention for the two Round of 16 berths from this group.
Ajax: Will go through if they draw, or if Chelsea fail to win against Lille.
Valencia: Will go through if they beat Ajax, or as long as they finish at least level on points with Chelsea, as they have a superior head-to-head record against the Blues.
Chelsea: Will go through if they beat Lille, or if they draw and Valencia lose against Ajax.
