#2 Cristiano Ronaldo
This is a player that needs no introduction. The Portuguese captain developed from a little known winger who shared a name with Brazilian great Ronaldo Nazario to one of the greatest footballers of all time. After finding his stride at United, he was able to score an astonishing 42 goals as United clinched the Champions League and Premier League in 2008.
This fuelled the fire to his world record £80 million to Real Madrid in 2009. At the end of his United career, he had scored 118 goals in 292 appearances in all competitions. He also scored the opening goal in the 2008 Champions League final against Chelsea.
