If Conte wants to stay in his homeland, he could very well try to manage AC Milan. Milan are also going through a rebuilding phase under Gennaro Gattuso and finding it a bit difficult to stay inside the top 4 at Serie A. They have a solid defence with the likes of Romagnoli, Rodriguez, Calabria and Abate, and Conte usually enjoys working with a team having good defenders.

Moreover, Milan also have useful players like Bakayoko and Suso in their midfield and therefore, can pose some serious threat to their opponents if managed properly. Veteran striker Gonzalo Higuain has been linked to Chelsea of late, and might not stay at Milan for too long. Therefore, Conte would also get an opportunity to purchase some players and build a new and exciting side at the San Siro.
Milan might struggle to qualify for next season’s Champions League, as they are currently at the 5th position in the Serie A table. Should they fail to do so, they can think of Antonio Conte as their future manager.
