#1 Manchester United 8-2 Arsenal
United and Arsenal share one of the biggest rivalries in English football. On most occasions, it is usually a tight affair and a game of margins. However, that was not the case on August 28, 2011, when they faced each other in their English Premier League match at Old Trafford. It had all the ingredients of a proper match between the two sides. There was a red card, penalties and goals.
United recorded their biggest ever win to date over Arsenal courtesy of Rooney's hat-trick. with Ashley Young adding two curled goals. Park Ji-Sung, Nani and Danny Welbeck were the other scorers for United. On the other end, Theo Walcott and Robin Van Persie managed a goal each for the Gunners. Arsenal were ripped apart in every sense of the manner. Every time United pressed forward, there was that feeling that it would end up in a goal. Similar to the pain Germany inflicted on Brazil in the 2014 World Cup semi-final.
