Mohamed Salah is probably one of the best forwards to have played for Liverpool. Salah who arrived in Liverpool in 2017 after a splendid time with Roma was unstoppable last season, as he went on to score 32 goals in 36 games. He also led Liverpool to the UEFA Champions League Final where he scored 11 goals in 15 games.
His phenomenal 2017-2018 season with Liverpool led him to win dozens of individual accolades to his name, with recently the FIFA Puskas Award for the best goal. Thus with his current form and achievements, he will be one of the top contenders battling against Ronaldo and Messi for the Ballon d'or this year.
The Egyptian striker had a disappointing World Cup as Egypt were knocked out in the group stages. However, at a €150 million valuation, it makes him the most expensive Egyptian player in the world and the most expensive Premier League player.
