Last season, Manchester United seemed to have won the race for his signature, but the deal clearly did not materialise, and this season, it looks like the 22-year-old is set to make his mark in the Premier League in Arsenal colours.

According to the BBC, Arsenal are optimistic over a deal for the Celtic defender. The Gunners had a £15 million bid knocked back a couple of days ago, and David Ornestian, a tier 1 reporter for Arsenal-related news, believes that the Gunners will come back with an improved offer. Tierney is currently valued at £25 million by Celtic.

Sead Kolasinac has certainly been a hit for Arsenal, but the player is more comfortable in playing as a left-wing back. And with Nacho Monreal set to leave Arsenal this summer, the need for a left back was real and Kieran Tierney is the best Arsenal can get.
