#2 Ashley Young
Following Antonio Valencia's injury struggles, Ashley Young has taken on the mantle of being Manchester United captain with high esteem and the versatile Englishman has regularly featured at right-back across recent seasons - looking comfortable in his newfound role.
At 33 and not being a natural fullback, the likelihood is that United will let Young depart this summer. However with Valencia set to leave once this season is complete, it might not be a good decision to offload two experienced defenders in the upcoming transfer window - regardless of who is recruited.
Summer signing Diogo Dalot is only 19 and despite his promise, may take a few more seasons to become a seasoned campaigner. Young's position in the first-team could prove vital for United going forward, especially with the number of games in different competitions on offer.
