#2 David de Gea
David de Gea is arguably one of the best goalkeepers in the world. He has been one of the few positives United have had in the past few seasons. He has saved United numerous times and has been their most consistent performer over the past few seasons.
However, he has had an average season in Premier League 2018/19. He has already conceded 32 goals this season and has kept only 2 clean sheets. While Last year, he conceded only 28 goals and kept 19 clean sheets in the Premier League.
His own form has been lacking consistency since the World Cup last year. The back four has also been inconsistent for United but this season they have conceded way more goals as compared to past seasons.
David is contracted to the club till 2020 and the club has no intentions to sell him as they know it will be extremely hard to replace a player of his calibre. David has to bring his old form to help United keep some clean sheets. If they are able to do so, they could be on their way to claim a top 4 spot by the end of the season.
