The 33-year-old’s career started declining during his latter days at the Emirates, so he joined Chelsea with the hope of rejuvenating his career. Unfortunately, his poor performances have continued in the Premier League for The Blues, with just 5 goals for them across 3 seasons.
The likes of Lyon, Marseille, and Bordeaux are believed to have shown interest in signing the French striker who has been limited to just 5 appearances in the EPL this season. Giroud’s contract is up with Chelsea at the end of the season, so taking the exit route from Stamford Bridge appears the best option for the attacker.
