#1 Brozovic (Inter Milan)
Now this might not be a very popular opinion. United fans would much rather have Sergej Milinkovic Savic in their team. However, what they fail to see is that Savic and Pogba are players who are of the same build. And with Fred also in the ranks, it would be a waste of money to sign Savic.
Meanwhile, what United should be looking at is a replacement for Nemanja Matic who will turn 30 before the start of the new season.
Brozovic shone for Croatian playing behind Ivan Rakitic and Luka Modric. It would be a similar role that he plays at United if he would join with Pogba and Fred operating in front of him. Brozovic's sweeping skills enabled Modric and Rakitic to move up front and wreak havoc while he offered extra support in the form of a shield to Dejan Lovren and Vida.
From defensive midfield, the 25-year-old garnered 9 assists from 31 appearances in the Serie A last season. Those are quite healthy numbers for a DM. He is valued at £31.5 million at Transfermarkt and in today's market, if United can get him for under £40 million, he'd be a steal.
