Malcom is another Brazilian who Barcelona has added to their roster this season. The 21 year old was signed under weird circumstances by the Catalans. His ex-club Bordeaux had initially reached an agreement with AS Roma over Malcom’s transfer.

However, the French club behaved unprofessionally and decided to sell their player to Barcelona who were willing to pay higher.

The former Corinthians midfielder was one of the best attacking midfielders of the Brazilian League when he played his football in South America. He had emerged as a great player for Bordeaux and racked up 84 appearances since they signed him up in January 2016.

His pace, power and directness has led to him being compared with his compatriot and ex Real Madrid player - Robinho.
