#2 David Luiz
The Brazilian played for Chelsea for the second time in his career. His first span lasted three years before he joined French Ligue 1 champions, Paris Saint-Germain. Conte signed him in 2016 on a three-year deal.
Luiz made his way into the PFA Team of the Year after winning the EPL with his club. However, he soon saw his play time limited in the 2017-18 season.
Things became worse for him when he was left out of the Brazil World Cup squad. The 31-year-old was rumored to be on the verge of leaving Chelsea in January, but ultimately no move was made.
His deal expires at the end of next summer and there is a possibility that Chelsea would run down his contract.
Carlo Ancelotti, Napoli's newly appointed manager, is said to be keen on signing Luiz. He had been a player under Ancelotti when the Italian was in charge of the English club. Since Conte welcomed Andreas Christensen into the defense, Luiz lost his starting position and does not seem to be able to find his way back.
Even if the former Juventus coach leaves his post as the Chelsea manager, it is unlikely that Christensen will be dropped in favor of Luiz. The center-back's time with the Blues could soon be coming to an end.
