Christian Eriksen has had a brilliant season. But the fact that he made the team of the season ahead of Fernandinho is a crime.

The Danish midfielder has been doing well creatively but Kevin de Bruyne and David Silva have been better than him in that aspect. Picking Eriksen over Fernandinho clearly shows that modern day football does not give enough credit to the defensive midfielders.
N'Golo Kante, Casemiro, and Sergio Busquets are expectations. Apart from them, no other DM is given enough credit nor are they getting any recognition.
