#2 AS Roma
Roma reached the semi-finals of last year's UEFA Champions League, thanks to their strong lineup and a rock solid midfield that comprised of some of the best footballers in all of Europe. With the absence of Radja Nainggolan, however, the Italian side have struggled this very season, seventh in the current league standings.
With his arrival, Roma can go back to their traditional 4-3-3 and the Spaniard can be an extremely important player for them as he can play in a more central role, or as a deep-lying playmaker combining with Javier Pastore and Steven N'Zonzi, two world-class midfielders.
Roma can then rejuvenate their attack with the help of the midfield, as the former world-cup winner can also switch to a false-9. Roma can only look better if Fabregas is to arrive in Italy. The fact that he is a top-class midfielder with a lot left in his tank will be a matter of consideration.
