At 31, Fabregas still has a chance of catching up Giggs on the all-time list, provided he maintains his form and fitness for a minimum of 4-5 seasons.
James Milner, Ashley Young, and David Silva are the only active players in the top 20 of the most assists list but considering they are still more than 80 assists behind Giggs's mark and with their career winding down, the record looks very much out of their reach.
The great Welshman's record surely looks safe for the foreseeable future.
