#1 David Wagner
After Newcastle United secured their first victory of the season last weekend, Huddersfield is now the only side yet to win a Premier League game this season. Besides that, The Terriers are also out of the Carabao Cup after they lost to Championship side, Stoke City, in the second round.
Wagner somehow no longer seems to be an inspiration for his players. They do not look close to winning due to problems both in terms of goalscoring and defence. Huddersfield have scored the least number of goals thus far this season and already conceded 21 goals. The lack of goals is costing the team as they have not scored more than a goal in each match.
In mid-October, Terriers chief Dean Hoyle backed Wagner and guaranteed his place in the club. However, nothing appears to be improving and the club could possibly drop further behind the rest of the teams by the start of the upcoming winter transfer window.
In order to save the club from the relegation battle, Huddersfield should consider changing the manager after such a poor run of results since August. It will be too late to change the destiny of the club if they were to wait till January and by then, the new manager could have too little time to bring changes to the club. Huddersfield faces Fulham later today and if they lose the game, it should really spell the end of Wagner's time at the club.
