#2 Wasted opportunities
Arsenal created a bunch of chances in the first half despite not having much possession. The opening minute saw Aubameyang make more contact with the ground than the ball, with the resultant poor touch being simply gathered by Kepa.
It was a sign of things to come.
The Gabon striker skied two good shots - laid on a platter for him by Bellerin and then Iwobi. Within a minute of the first of these, Morata scored, adding insult to injury.
Earlier, Mesut Ozil missed a chance to open scoring too, shooting inches wide of the Chelsea keeper, having been put in by Nacho Monreal.
Mkhitaryan and Iwobi were equally guilt of sending their shots over the bar in front of almost open goals and with zero physical pressure.
Needless to say, the hosts had their moments too but Petr Cech was in outstanding form; the loss not a reflection of his performance and the margin immense credit to him.
