#2 Arsenal in better form
Another reason that makes Arsenal favourites for this encounter is the fact that the Gunners are in a better form than Liverpool. Although the Gunners lost their opening two games against Manchester City and Chelsea, the club has since gone on an amazing 13-game run without tasting defeat.
In fact, the Gunners recorded 11 consecutive victories in all competitions after their last loss to the Blues, until that impressive run was halted following a 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace last week. Although Liverpool remains unbeaten in the Premier League, the Reds do not match their London rivals in terms of current form.
Liverpool have won just three of the last seven games in all competitions – a run which is at variance to the quick start that the Reds had at the beginning of the season. So, going by the form guide, there is no reason why Arsenal should not walk away with the three points when they face Jurgen Klopp’s men on Saturday.
